Binda came to us when she was just a little tinny chick. A kid bought two chickens in front of his school, people paint them with toxic colorants, in order to make them appealing. One of the chicks died, the other one survived. The mother of the child talked with a vegan friend, and he said they should take Binda to the sanctuary.

Now she is here, but sadly she is a broiler. Broilers are genetically modified, their body grows at an accelerated rate; to the point that their heart will not be able to resist the growth. It is possible that she will die before reaching one year, but we will do everything to give her many years of life
